So I had a post almost finished yesterday afternoon, but I was writing it on my iPhone, and someone called me and I managed to lose the whole thing. After that I didn't really feel like starting over right away. Now we're in the car on our way home from Tampa. It's about a four hour drive and we just started, so now I have plenty of time to blog.

We came because, as many of you know, Manny's mom, Jackie, had leukemia and just recieved a bone marrow transplant. She was at Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa until yesterday, and now for the next couple months she and Manny's dad will be staying in an apartment near the hospital, going back daily for blood tests and whatnot. It is awesome that she doesn't have to be in the hospital anymore though- we stayed in thier apartment, and it is really nice. The clubhouse has a pool and game room, and even a little movie theatre. It was so good to see them, and for them to see Seth was especially good. He just adores them, and really clung to his grandpa a lot. Jackie is doing reall well and her blood counts keep going up, though she has had some rotten after-effects from the chemo. Those should be getting better and better now too. We are all just so thankful that she is on the road to recovery now. We'll definitely be visiting a few more times while they are in Tampa.

Seth is such a joy, even when teething is getting to him as it has been lately. He can easily walk across a room now. He is sweet and loves to give hugs and kisses. It just melts me.

Well I have decided that while I like my phone a lot, blogging from it is a bit of a pain, so I am going to sign off for now. I have a bunch of work waiting for me at home, and I'll be posting some new client photos over on my business blog over the next few days, so check it out-- Hannah Mayo Photography

We are trying to enjoy this drive roadtrip-style, and our next big questions are where to stop for lunch, and how to get all the icky bugs off the front of our car. :-P Have a wonderful day lovlies!
