I shot a bar mitzvah a couple of weeks ago. It looks like I'll be posting about 70 photos to the client's web gallery- I'm hoping to be ready to do that early next week. The lighting situation was a challenge-- a small dimly lit room with a mirror on one wall, which happened to be the wall in front of which the ceremony took place!-- but I think that overall the photos came out good. I hope that they'll be happy with them. It is such a challenge trying to find time to edit while taking care of a 9 month old. He doesn't want to share me! I tend to get frustrated and feel like I am not getting enough done, but I am trying to keep a positive attitude and make the most of the time I do have- when he's napping or after he goes to bed at night. I want to have a good turnaround time for my clients- I know what it's like to wait eagerly to see your pictures! But I also need downtime, and more sleep, and those are the things that seem to be taking a hit these days. Alas, I'll take less sleep over no jobs any day!
