I'm Hannah: mother, wife, photographer, writer, artist, wellness enthusiast and lover of the simple and beautiful. I live in South Florida with my husband Manny, our three children (Seth, Isaac, and Eaden), and our golden doodle Lily.
This is my journal of motherhood, homeschooling, health, and living with grace & intention

I took this shot back in February. My brand new 50mm f/1.4 lens had just come in the mail, replacing my 1.8. It was raining so I couldn't get outside to shoot, so I took it out of the box and convinced Seth to go watch the rain out the window. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the pictures I took that day- I uploaded them and forgot about them. Then yesterday I was going through my folders from this year so far, and the reflection of his face in the windowpane surprised me.

I love this moment. I love how it captures my son's serious, thoughtful side that seems so much older than two sometimes. I love finding unexpected, delightful things hanging out on my own computer.

This weekend my aunt and her two boys will be at my grandmother's house, visiting from Maryland, so Seth and I are joining them all until Monday afternoon and will likely be getting lots of sun and taking plenty of pictures. I always look forward to their visits.

Happy Friday!
